Accomplishments
Ø Designed and developed the solution in collaboration with the multiple business partners including the Public Broadcasting System, SCANS 2000, ACT, Washington State National Guard, U.S. Army Reserve, ISEEK Solutions and the Network Consortium.
Ø Provided sophisticated system security through the use of the Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) technology.
Ø Made the system compliant with the internationally accepted exchange of information standards – the Learner Information Package Specification – to facilitate global exchange of validated data. |
Ø Provided the flexibility for users to decide what data goes into the CMA account from the information submitted by the provider.
Ø Ensured information sent by the provider was validated through a third party such as the American College of Advisory Services.
Ø Allowed the user to obtain an electronic ID (i.e. digital certificate) to securely send licenses, transcripts, certificated and other validated records to employers and learning institutions.
Ø Coordinated testing, technical reviews and training with the U.S. Department of Labor and seven other major partners. |
